Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Sandra — traveller, mum, and the face behind Furl. The idea started in 2015, just before my husband and I quit our jobs to travel the world. He was a minimalist packer. I wasn’t. But I was handy with a sewing machine.
So we made our own roll-up packing system to keep our bags organized and our travels simple. We called them Furls — and we took them everywhere during five years of house-sitting and slow travel.
These days, we live in the Azores with our three kids, but Furl is still our go-to system for every trip. We hope it becomes yours too.
