How many Furls fit in different types of luggage?
This depends on your luggage dimensions and how full each Furl is packed.
As a general guide:
- Carry-ons with a deeper main packing compartment often accommodate 2 Furls with room for other essentials.
- Medium-to-large backpacks often accommodate 1–2 Furls.
- Checked suitcases often accommodate 4–6 Furls.

How do I care for my Furl Packing Roll?
To keep Furl in top shape, please remember to close the Velcro (folding the roll so that the hooks adhere to the loops) before tossing it in the wash. This simple step prevents snagging on the binding and helps maintain its longevity.
Your Furl packing roll can be safely machine dried on low.
For best results, wash and dry it on its own to avoid snagging on other clothing items.
If you’re feeling more environmentally conscious, you can also hand wash and line dry your Furl.
What can I pack in it?
Furl is great for clothes like t-shirts, leggings, dresses, and sweaters. You can also use it for things like baby clothes, gym gear, or even to separate outfits by day or activity.
How does Furl work with bulky items?
Furl works best with soft bulky items like jumpers, hoodies, and knitwear. Like packing cubes, the bulkier the items, the fewer you’ll fit in one roll.
That said, Furl is great at compressing items that contain a lot of air — such as puffer/down jackets — helping to reduce volume and keep everything contained. We’ve even packed a kids’ snowsuit.
Can I use Furl with packing cubes?
Absolutely. Furl plays well with others—many people use it alongside packing cubes for a fully organized system. Use Furl for larger rollables, and cubes for smaller items like socks, delicate pieces like padded or underwired bras, or accessories like chargers and cables.

Orders ship from the Azores, Portugal and typically take 2-3 weeks for international delivery. You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships. If your order hasn't arrived within 4 weeks, please contact us.
